ELSA is delighted to welcome Emilie Bateson from Ermitage International School to present at the ELSA Lifelong Learning Lab 2026.

With over 20 years of International Baccalaureate teaching experience across Canada, China, South Korea, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and France, Emilie brings a reflective, classroom-grounded approach to professional learning. She currently teaches MYP and DP English Language and Literature and has also served as an IB Diploma Coordinator.

About the session

Emilie’s session explores how classroom journaling can be used as a powerful tool for reflective practice for both students and teachers.
