ELSA Teacher Development Day (TDD)
What is Teacher Development Day?
ELSA's Teacher Development Day (TDD) is the premier English-language professional development forum for educators in France. The annual conference features a program on relevant topics in education, up-to-date research and findings as well as hands-on workshops.
It's a comprehensive gathering of education professionals and features the field's foremost local and international specialists. With close to 300 participants, it offers valuable networking opportunities for professionals in education.
The TDD attracts leading international educational companies who return every year to present new materials and resources.

What to Expect
Built around ten themed streams, the ELSA TDD offers approximately 40 workshops and presentations designed for primary, middle and upper school teachers. The programme also includes job-alike sessions for those working in college admissions, educational leadership and library services, so every delegate can follow a path suited to their role. A large, easy-to-access exhibiting area also gives delegates the chance to connect with leading educational companies.
A Recognised Programme
ELSA's Teacher Development Day has been recognised by ECIS and is sponsored by The International Education group from Cambridge.

I thought the day was fantastic and was just sad not to be able to see all of the presentations as they all looked so interesting. It was great also to get an insight into the world of international schools.

Sita was brilliant, I could have stayed all day. Many really helpful, practical ideas for encouraging and stimulating students' writing. This was the best CPD I've had in years.

Great day. I particularly enjoyed my second session of the day. The lunch was excellent. Fun to interact with other teachers. Will definitely go next year. The exhibitors were great, as well.

I had a wonderful time at this conference which had a lovely collegial atmosphere. My audience was engaged, participative and a lot of fun to work with. Honestly, this was the most pleasurable experience I have had as a conference presenter.

It was an absolute pleasure to attend the conference, to be so generously hosted and to meet your wonderful team in person and get to chat. The educators and writers I met during the day were dedicated and inspirational. There were moving and memorable interactions both in the session and in conversations afterwards. What a creative hive of activity it was on Saturday.

Meeting the ELSA team/speakers the evening before was such a pleasure and an integral element in creating connections both for the conference and beyond. On Saturday, I thoroughly enjoyed delivering my workshops and the enthusiastic engagement from the delegates was truly gratifying.
