Join us on January 16th, 2025 for an engaging and interactive virtual webinar with Beth Stark, Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Consultant for International Schools. UDL, a theory and framework for identifying and reducing barriers to learner agency, was developed by Harvard professors forty years ago. Today, the United Nations and inclusive organizations around the world are encouraging educators to develop our understanding of UDL, and to embrace it as our shared approach to designing for all learners. During our virtual workshop, we will explore the mindsets and practices of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and learn how to leverage AI for reducing barriers for language learners with LUDIA, your AI-Powered UDL Thought partner. Discovering new support strategies, creating scaffolds, and developing contextually-specific resources has never been easier!

Beth is passionate about inclusive learning design and partners with international schools as a professional learning facilitator specialising in UDL implementation. She is dedicated to igniting inclusive inquiry for all learners and is the co-creator of LUDIA, the AI-Powered UDL thought partner, used by educators in one hundred countries, and counting. Beth has sixteen years of IB international school experience and holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Certificate of International School Leadership from the Principals’ Training Center. She lives in Germany, and serves as the Co-Chairperson of the UDL-IRN Implementation Special Interest Group, is an ISTE certified educator, and a CPACC certified member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
